IM intrestead in buying an iphone on dec is it worth buying i want to know is the internat fast and how is you tube on there!!! overall is it a good phone since i would be paying . at the APPLE STORE IN slc utah

Wait until the next generation iPhone is released, at least. Currently, the internet and phone service are provided by superslow ATT. Theres lots of unhappy customers, but youre locked into a year contract with ATT if you buy an iPhone. Expect to pay at least month for years.brbrAlso, the iPhone does not have any means of loading on or saving data or other software OTHER than from the Apple website. Theres no card slot. That means any pictures you take with its mediocre camera have to be sent via the internet. You cant save pix or files to a memory card and share them. Internet use means more money you pay to ATT.brbrRumors are that a future model iPhone will have a card slot and options for other service providers. brThe iPhones interface is very cool and innovative, but it IS a first generation product. Apple tends to put restrictions on the inital releases of its products and gradually makes them more userfriendly. Theres lots of hidden costs and frustration to go with the glitz.
